Mother Day is a beautiful day dedicated to a mother in regards to her services to the family and nation. About the Origin of Mother’s day some people belief that it started from where when people started worshiping their mothers and also a statue was made by Romans and called as Cybele Mother of Gods, People worship that statue and take blessings from them, And Christians celebrate mother’s day in the memory of Mother of Christ if we see back pages of history, But in England the Christians not only resembles mother’s day with the Mother of Christ but they also give regards to all other mothers in the world and called that day a Mothering Sunday. In America about 150 years ago the foundation of Mother’s day was laid when Anna Jarvis in her community fixed a day to raise awareness of old people‘s health in the family and Anna called this day as Mother’s Work Day. About 15 years of which a poet from Boston named Julia Ward Howe organize a day which brings a rally to encourage services of mothers because according to Julia mother is the one who bear harsh life then anybody else. In 1905 Anna Jarvis died but her campaign was carried forward by Anna her daughter and she maintain that campaign in memory of her mother Anna Jarvis and her services to the nation. Anna take this issue to the businessman John Wannamaker and politicians and Presidents Taft and Roosevelt of the time. After Five years of effort Anna efforts bring color to life, and House of Representatives pass a resolution to wear white carnations on Mother’s Day. and it has been referred as a National Day. People celebrate mothers day by going church, writing letters to mothers and by sending cards, presents and flowers but later on visiting mother at home and have a little party became the trend. Every nation give regards to a Mother Services, I also give my regards to all the Mothers of the World.
