Radio is a musical movie directed by Ishaan Trivedi and produced by Ravi Agarwal. The main cast of the movie includes Himesh Reshammiya, Sehnaz Treasurywala, Sonal Sehgal, Zakir Hussain and Rajesh Khattar. The movie shows Vivan (Himesh) as a successful and renowned RJ and the complications he encounter in his marital and friendship affairs. Himesh is shown as a good guy whose wife Pooja has left him because she thinks that both are having different mindsets and can’t go along further with peace. Pooja asks for a divorce and Himesh becomes upset however they continue to be friends after divorce. In the meanwhile, Himesh happens to meet Shanaya Dhingra (Shenaz Treasurywala) whom in the first hand, he insults due to some misunderstanding but in the end, they turn up to become good friends and Vivan (Himesh) feels like he has fallen in love with Shanaya. Vivan discusses this with Pooja that he is in a complicated relationship with Shanaya and seeks help from her. The ex-wife and a women too naturally gets jealous of their relationship and her sense of possession invokes. She develops a soft corner for Vivan but finds it difficult to come back in her life because it was her that sought a divorce. The plot of the movie however is not new but one can argue that the person in discussion being a RJ and love story in a Radio Station gives a little bit uniqueness to the movie. The direction of the movie is not very cool. The plot gets collapsed at certain moments. Radio is not a movie worth watching for those who are not crazy for Himesh. As a matter of fact, Himesh has done much better acting than his previous movies. Rajesh Khattar is acting as the boss of Vivan.
