Soumitra Ranade is also working now a day on an animated movie named Ali baba and 41 thieves. This is based on the same old traditional story of a jolly, naughty but kind hearted by living with his uncle who keeps a good fame due to his greedy nature. The boy Chinku got into a severe problem of his life when he took side of a poor boy in a market being scolded by a proud man due to  little mistake made by that poor boy. Chinku took that boy to Arabian Nights to get some relief. There on a stall he found a magical book which took him to a dream world of Ali Baba and 40 thieves. There he passed his most curious, amazing and dangerous days of life. He started enjoying the companies of Ali baba, Suleiman Ali babas camel whose name does not suits him, Pasha Ali babas little dog who loves to live in Suleimans shadow and Marjinah the gorgeous and wise maid at his brothers house. This peaceful life was then interrupted by the worst enemy of Chinkus life Abu Hassan and the greedy uncle who also favors Abu Hassan. Abu Hassan got the precious locket of Chinkus life but Chinku also got something precious from his belongings so the story continues in their life. Voices of the characters are recorded by John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Ashutosh Rana, Atul Kulkarni, Saurabh Shukla, Raza Murad and Mukesh Tiwari. No one knows whether this old story can stay on box office for some time or will just pass like many others.
