Although the Indian movies are known to have a same subject in romantic comedies but Dostana was way too different. This ability of taking up different subjects in the usual genres actually pays off for Karan Johar. So this time he is going again for the Dostana sequel, right now called Dostana 2. Dostana 2 is scheduled for release in 2011. The lead roles are played by Abhishek Bachan and John Abraham. The producer of the film is Karan Johar and the Director is     Tarun Mansukhani.     Tarun Mansukhani has been a part of many hits of Karan Johar. He was the director and story writer of Dostana 1 and now here he is, again doing the honors for Dostna 2. The reason of making Dostana two movie was the booming trend of sequels in Bollywood movies. As said by Tarun Manskhani, the chance of success of Dostana 2 movie is 60 out of hundred the reason being that if the first part is successful the chances of success of its sequel are great because the audience has a positive perception of the movie prior to its release. So let’s see that the impression of Dostana 1 is good enough to support dostana 2 movie.
The shoot of this film was announced to start in April 2010. So the crew must be half way through the shoot of Dostana 2 movie. Other than Abhishek Bachan and John Abraham, the cast also includes Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade & Arjun Rampal. Prinaka Chopra would also appear in this film but for a short time. Katrina kaif is given a chance this time in dostana 2. Katrina Kaif is now a days very famous not only for her looks but also for her acting as well.
