Good news for all Karan Johar fans! We Are Family is yet another flick to be released on 10th September, 2010, under the banner of Dharma Productions and Sony Pictures. The movie is casting Bollywood top actresses, Kareena Kapoor and Kajol. It has been produced by Karan Johar, directed by Siddharth Malhotra and said to be an official Indian remake of Chris Columbus’s famous movie, Stepmom (1998). Its the first time that Kareena- Kajol duo will be seen together after Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, in which they played the role of sisters. But this time, they will be casted in roles, opposite to each other. Arjun Rampal will be the male actor in the lead role. The movie has been mainly shot in Australia, Mumbai and Sydney.

The story of We Are Family is about the life of Maya (Kajol), who is a cancer stricken woman and her life revolves around her three children - Ankush (Nominath Ginsburg), Aleya (Aanchal Munjal), and Anjali (Diya Sonecha). Despite being divorced by her husband Aman (Arjun), she makes sure that everything goes on smoothly and they remain as one family. The things start changing when Aman introduces Maya to his girl friend, Shreya (Kareena Kapoor) and she starts learning about the kids and the family. Shreya becomes the step mother of Kajols children. The two women start living under one roof and that is where the differences start to emerge. Having the two women under one roof also raises the question, Can two mothers make a home?

It is yet to be seen how the women overcome their differences, as the story unfolds, and treat each other as a family.  The movie is said to be a romantic, comedy drama. Its music is given by the leading trio of film music composer of India, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. So these day you have facility to watch We are family online.
