Almost every actor in Bollywood showed a keen interest to enact the main lead in this film but finally the main lead is given to  Akshaye Khanna who admitted that autograph was having a great script and informed  bazmee that he is gung ho about the film on the sets of 36 CHINA TOWN at Pathumthani, Bangkok, Thailand. after directing akshay at deewangee bazmee is now going to work with him again in autograph remake. however the three main lead heroines and also the title of the remake is yet not finalised. Akshaye went to watch the Tamil hit at a South Mumbai preview theatre with a lot of apprehensions but was not able to understand the language [tamil] but he had an interpreter sitting next to him but he was unable to take his eyes off the screen and akshay comented that autograph is an  incredible movie, one of the most mind-blowing films he had  seen in his life. The moment the screening ended akshay  told Anees that let's get started immediately and according to anees akshay was very excited at that moment. it was set that autograph remake will be released at january 29, 2011. in cast and crew only akshay khanna as main lead and anees bazmee as director have been revealed, other crew and even songs are still to come. this remake will surely be a piece of entertainment for the audience.
