Shankar and was published on India last October in which the production team claims that it’s the country’s most expensive film ever created of all time but this film was popularized because of some of the stars that take the role for this title was Aishwarya Rai, Rajinikanth and more and even in its opening weekend it was the highest grossing Indian film of all time even it beat Slumdog Millionaire collecting an unprecedented  62 crore in the opening weekend. The films story revolves around a scientists struggle to control his creation, an android robot whose programme was upgraded to give it the ability to comprehend and generate human emotions but the plan backfires as the robot falls in love with the scientist's fiancée aishwarya rai and is further manipulated to bring destruction to the world when it lands in the hands of a rival scientist. Now the movie will tell you that how the robot is stopped from further destruction forms the rest of the plot. The film released worldwide on 1 October 2010  along with its dubbed versions, Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu and the background score and soundtrack was composed by A. R. Rahman  which released as an album on 31 July 2010.
