Priyadarshan is another time with his latest magical and comical tale which he named Khata Meta. It is a remake of his own directed Malayalam movie Vellanakalude Nadu including star casts of Mohanlal, Shobana, Nedumudi Venu and Sreenivasan. But in this new-fangled Bollywood version of the film there is comedy king, Akshay Kumar against his co-star Trisha Krishnan. In this film Akshay will be playing the character of a road construction contractor, Sachin Tichkule and Trisha who is a Southern actress is assigned to play the role of Ganphule Madam. Apart from these lead roles, comedy kings, talented and well known celebrities Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Johny Lever, Aruna Irani and Urvashi Sharma will also be there to carry Priyadarshan’s miraculous comedy. While, they will be supported by Sachet Engineer, Makrand Deshpande, Atul Parchure, Neeraj Vora, and Milind Gunaji.
