The movie Talisman is based upon a hindi novel, Chandrakanta, in which there is a nation named aiyars. The basic plot revolves around 3 Aiyars, two of whom are deeply in love with each other. The Big B, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a leader, a mentor who provides those in need with a talisman. The big B is very well chosen for the role of a warrior. He features in full white clothes with long white hair, face half covered with a mask and on a beautiful white stallion and guiding a group of soldiers possibly trying to avoid war to the max. The movie also has Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt also stars in his most likely negative role. The new addition to Bachan s family, Aishwairiya Rai also plays the role of a princess. Shot in Bhutan, the movie is basically a love story which also encompasses human love for war and greed.
