The great Indian butterfly is the story of a young couple who are struggling to get to the top of the corporate sector. How ever soon they get really frustrated and tired of their efforts that all go in vain and set out to find an insect that is said to bring extreme happiness to the one who possesses it. The last time any one ever saw it was by a Portuguese explorer. The couple sets out in search of the great Indian butterfly promised to bring happiness to them and almost travel through all of India in search of the magical insect.  Would they find the magical insect or not or is the magical insect just a fantasy, a metaphor that stands for the word extreme happiness. Well the answer lies in the movie so it must be found out itself.
